Two Scorpio Suns understand each other perfectly and trust each other slowly. Everything is noticed. Nothing is asked directly. It is either the safest thing either of them has ever had, or the most exhausting, and it usually takes about two years to find out which.
What pulls
Being met at full strength. Neither of them is diluting anything for the comfort of the other, and neither has to pretend the intensity is a phase. There is also, quite simply, nowhere to hide, and for two people who have spent their lives making sure there always was somewhere to hide, that is both the most frightening and the most relieving thing on offer.
Where it grinds
Both of them test. Neither of them asks. Scorpio’s method of finding out whether you are safe is to give you an opportunity to prove you are not, and when two people do that to each other simultaneously, it can look a great deal like a war neither of them declared. Both will also go silent rather than exposed, and a silence held by two Scorpios is a very long silence.
The long version
When this works it is close to unbreakable, because nothing has been hidden and there is therefore nothing left to discover and be disappointed by. When it fails, it fails from stalemate, not from a lack of feeling. What decides it is not the Sun. It is whether the two Moons can put anything down, and that is a question only the actual charts can answer.
