Aries · Libra
One of you says it. One of you manages the room after you say it.
Aries and Libra are opposite each other on the axis of self and other. Aries begins with what they want. Libra begins with what the situation needs. Ruled by Mars and Venus, they are the classic magnet, and the classic slow-motion misunderstanding.
What pulls
Aries is direct in a way Libra finds almost restful. There is no reading between lines because there are no lines to read between, and for someone who spends every social hour calculating the temperature of a room, that is a holiday. Libra, in turn, is graceful about things Aries has been quietly clumsy about for a lifetime, and does it without ever making Aries feel corrected.
Where it grinds
Libra accommodates. Not once, continually, and largely without mentioning it, because mentioning it would be a scene. Aries, who assumes anyone who disagrees will simply say so, has no idea a bill is running. Then a small thing gets said, and out comes eighteen months of accounting, and Aries is genuinely astonished. Libra experiences that astonishment as proof of not having been seen, which it is, but not for the reason Libra thinks.
The long version
This works when Libra learns to object in real time and Aries learns that silence is not the same as agreement. Both of those are difficult and neither is impossible. What the Sun signs cannot tell you is whether either person actually has the equipment to do it. Where Mars and Venus fall in the two charts will, and it is often the exact opposite of what these two words suggest.
